I am not asking for much, just reimbursement for the cost of a new tire,
At the courthouse to register my trailer I couldn't find my bill of sale. I called Stateline and asked if they could fax one to the courthouse. Of course they would, for $15. Seems pretty greedy. Not real pleased with the customer service. I drove three hours one way to buy a trailer from them and this is the service I got after the sale.
I emailed Hull Trailer detailing my situation, complete with trailer info and pictures, and what I had to do to correct the situation to include, my time / labor, having the drum measured and turned, and purchase of a new tire. I have had contact with both Mitch and Craig at Hull trailer.
I bought a Hull Trailer on 11-10-16. Pulled it empty to Denver Co and then loaded from Denver to Milwaukee. I parked the trailer for the winter. When I went to use the trailer again on 9-28-17 I noticed that the left front tire was excessively worn and had several spots where the tire was almost bare. All three of the other tires were fine. My investigation into the issue found that the drum for that tire was wrapped causing the tire to skip when the electric brakes were applied.
I did not buy a trailer from their axle supplier I bought it from Hull Trailer. In my opinion Hull Trailer should own the problem, reimburse me for my time and expense and then they should deal with their axle supplier.
All I have gotten in return is the "Run Around" and how they have to get with their axle supplier. And most recently -no response since 11-20-17.
But I called and ask to use my credit card to get points and was told ok.
I contacted Hull Trailer on 9-29-17 and spoke to Mitch was told I could bring the tire in for their (Hull Trailer) review and tire replacement. Now I ask you, how convenient is that - a R/T from Milwaukee to Braddyville IA for a tire?
Just pick up my trailer today looks good hopefully it last long time . I will let everyone know. In the future.
I like the quailty of the trailer, no problem and I would buy another.
expense of having the drum turned, and 1/2 of my time for determining the problem and fixing it, for a total of $314.95.
I bought a 12' utility trailer back in April and I have been nothing but impressed with the trailer and the customer service. I was able to customize the trailer exactly the way I wanted it for the same or less then I was finding used online. I was a little apprehensive about getting a single axle trailer as the quality usually isn't as high but I really didn't need the dual. I am so impressed with the quality. They will earn my business again.
No matter how good your product may be, poor customer support will sour any deal. Though I think the trailer is well made and will last a long time I am definitely not a satisfied customer.
But when I arrived the young lady at the counter told me a 2% charge will be applide to my bill .Mitch would not wave fee and I was never told of it . the young lady was very rude and not very helpful . she just kept saying everyone pays it and she wasn't the one on the phone . 22.00 $ won't kill me but very disapointed in the customer service .
